Join us for a cozy, hands-on Kokedama workshop at Pen & Page in Wynyard, right after our Plant Van pop-up.
Kokedama, AKA “moss ball,” is a beautiful Japanese-inspired plant art where a plant’s roots are wrapped in soil and moss, then bound into a sculptural, living piece. It can be hung or displayed, adding a natural touch to any space.
In this guided workshop, you’ll create your own kokedama from start to finish, no experience needed. Just come ready to get your hands a little dirty and have some fun.
Your ticket ($40) includes:
- One plant of your choice
- All materials (soil, moss, string)
- Slate or wooden coaster for sitting kokedama
- Step-by-step instruction and support
- A simple take-home care guide
Want to make more than one?
You can add a second plant for $20 (must be used by the same participant).
You’ll leave with your own handmade kokedama and the quiet confidence of someone who can, in fact, keep a plant alive.
Spots are limited, so grab a ticket ahead of time.
Come hang out, make something beautiful, and join the plant people (and the curious) 🌿
